The Seventh and last drawing in my Nostalgic lolly scramble of New Zealand's lollies is the Tangy Fruit. Unfortunately or fortunately for movie cinemas the tangy fruit is no longer in circulation. They are something that was the weapon of choice for teenage movie goers throughout the 90's. I don't really remember ever eating them, but I do remember being pinged in the skull on more than one occasion. It is fitting to finish this nostalgic walk down memory lane with something that had an unmistakable sound, the pingers rattling around the ½ empty plastic tub both stuck fear and joy to movie goers and people walking. It isn't surprising that these projectiles were relegated to the bin of history is it?
